Hi there! it's Derrick and Harry, The Beskar Brothers! Here's a little bit about us!

We have been friends since 2006 when Derrick moved into the neighborhood. We hit it off almost from day one and have been "Bros" ever since!

We found common ground in our beliefs and are both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We firmly believe that any one person no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or Star Wars head-cannon is entitled to respect and love from those around you.

Being a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we both had the opportunity to serve as missionaries, a two-year-period where we were able to teach those who were interested to learn more what we believe and to help clear up some common misconceptions about the way we worship. Harry went to Manchester, England, and Derrick went to the Czech and Slovak Republics

We ask that you treat us with the same respect we strive to treat others with in regards to religion as we hope to foster a kind community where those of all backgrounds can thrive.

Ok, let’s talk about Star Wars!

Derrick:

Derrick's first introduction to star wars was when he was a little kid, he went over to his uncles house and there he watched his first full Star Wars movie, A New Hope. Only this wasn't the start of a Star Wars fan's normal origin story, quite the opposite! the movie was dubbed in Mandarin Chinese, a language that five-year-old Derrick had no clue how to understand. but that didn't stop Derrick to be a life long fan. One of Derrick's favorite Star Wars Memory is going to Rogue One in theaters with Harry!
